I am Ahmad Fathi from Indonesia. After graduating from the University of Mu’tah in Jordan, I selected Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia for my master’s program. I believe this campus has a very promising future. I greatly enjoy studying at UIII because all of the courses combine Western and Eastern elements of knowledge, which has really broadened my knowledge.
I was initially surprised by the combining of Western and Eastern approaches to academia because I did not have any experience discussing and approaching Islam from other perspectives. The way the lecturers supervise us through their innovative teaching has provided me with the opportunity to have a greater understanding of the debates about Islam. All the courses have unique characteristics that are important for my career development. The courses on Digital Islam, Islamic Law, and Research and Methodology have particularly inspired me the most and will significantly shape my dreams in the future.
