On Saturday, 13 December 2025, Prof. Yanwar Pribadi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), was invited as a prominent alumnus to the Alumni Network Forum 2025 organized by the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad). The event took place at Hotel Kimaya Braga, Bandung, and brought together over tens of alumni from various academic backgrounds to strengthen professional and institutional networks.

Prof. Pribadi is an alumnus of the Department of History, Faculty of Letters (Fakultas Sastra), Universitas Padjadjaran, now known as the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. The invitation reflects his successful academic trajectory and his developing influence in higher education, particularly through his leadership, advancing scholarly contribution, and institutional development at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, UIII.

The forum featured a Prominent Alumni category, in which each academic program was represented by two selected alumni for their significant contributions in their respective fields. As one of the featured speakers, Prof. Pribadi took part in a discussion session that encouraged active alumni engagement, focusing on career development, institutional contribution, and the sustained relevance of humanities scholars in today’s professional landscape. During his presentation, Prof. Pribadi shared reflections on his academic and professional journey as an academia and a dean. He highlighted the vital role of humanities scholars in leadership, institutional development, and public engagement, emphasizing how humanities perspectives remain essential in addressing contemporary social and academic challenges.
