About
Dr. Hasyim is a lecturer and Director of Library and Culture at the Indonesian International Islamic University (UIII), and adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Indonesia Studies Programme, ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute and at the Indonesian Programmes of RSIS, NTU, Singapore. He obtained his PhD from Freie University in 2014 and MA from Leiden University in 2002. He has published books, journal articles, commentaries in various newspapers and also has produced visual commentaries through TV and You Tube Channels.
